Don’t forget to pray for Palestine

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

In this blessed month of Ramadan, as we turn to our prayers and fasting to strengthen our bond with Allah, let us not forget those in need, those who suffer, and those who are oppressed.

As we enjoy the blessing of this holy month, it is crucial that we keep our brothers and sisters in Gaza in our hearts and prayers. They live in difficult conditions, facing violence, oppression and daily challenges to their survival.

As we engage in our daily prayers and special worship during this month of Ramadan, let us take a moment to invoke Allah on behalf of the people of Gaza. Let us ask Allah to grant them strength, resilience and peace in their lives. Let us pray for their safety, health and well-being.

Let us remember that our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught us the importance of solidarity and compassion towards other members of our umma (Muslim community). In this month of Ramadan, let us put these teachings into practice by supporting our brothers and sisters in Gaza through our prayers and, if possible, through our concrete actions.

May we, by the grace of Allah, be instruments of peace, mercy and hope for those who suffer. May our united prayers comfort the hearts of the people of Gaza and bring them the relief and healing they need.

May our month of Ramadan be filled with compassion, generosity and blessings for all, wherever we are in the world.

May Allah accept our prayers and guide us on the path of goodness and justice.

Ameen.
